How about a help out?
I realize that the battery to my 18 1LE is in the trunk.
Is it under the lift up cover in the middle of the trunk?
If so, how do you get at it?
How do I expose it?
I want to get at the terminals so I can connect a battery tender for winter storage?
Does the battery have common terminals?
I’ve searched all about.. Many of my searches are claiming the battery is in the trunk but on the «Passenger side».
Really,, on the Passenger side?
It’s inside the rear quarter?
I’m really confused now..

The battery is in the trunk on the passenger side. There is a small access panel you can remove to see it.

Connect the charger to the terminals under the hood.
